ABOUT MEHi, I'm Jo. Welcome to my website.
Being over 50 years old, I am more conscious about my health and being menopausal, I know that my body has changed and taking care of myself both physically and mentally is a priority. I am passionate about helping women in the perimenopause & menopause to take control in living their healthiest lives and reducing symptoms through nutrition, exercise and mindset. I have a varied background, serving 25 years in the Royal Air Force which I loved and travelled to some amazing places. When I left the RAF, I qualified as a Personal Trainer, running my own fitness business taking bootcamps, fitness classes and Personal Training as well as working in a gym. I loved helping people but it was at this time that I realised I was working so many hours, on the brink of burnout and couldn't afford to be ill, if I didn't work, I didn't get paid. This was taking its toll on my physical and mental health. It was then that I partnered with a health & wellness company, I started to improve my health and work on my mindset with personal development, which gave me the courage to make some huge changes in my career to work towards a healthier future. This change also gave me the opportunity to earn an additional income from my phone, to give me more time freedom. I have always had a passion for health and wellness, but this also gave me personal growth and the ability to help others who may be struggling with the perimenopause/menopause or help women feel more confident, improve their health and earn an income to help through the increased cost of living or as part of a strategy for financial security in retirement.
